Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of PepTools.net and to purchases made through our website.

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By using our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Us

PepTools.net is operated by:

PepTools
Email: support@peptools.net

Throughout these terms, “PepTools”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of PepTools.net.

2. Our Products

PepTools supplies research, laboratory, preparation and related accessories and supplies.

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and specifications displayed on our website are accurate. However, packaging, colour, appearance or minor product details may occasionally differ from photographs shown on the website without affecting the essential characteristics of the product.

Product images are provided for illustration purposes.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products purchased are suitable for their intended lawful purpose and are used in accordance with any instructions, labelling and applicable laws or regulations.

Information provided on PepTools.net is for general product information purposes and should not be regarded as medical advice.

3. Placing an Order

You can place an order by selecting products, adding them to your basket and completing the checkout process.

Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order details.

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, acceptance of your order occurs when we confirm that the order has been accepted or dispatched.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including:

  • a product being unavailable
  • an obvious pricing or product-description error
  • payment not being successfully authorised
  • suspected fraudulent activity
  • an order that we reasonably believe would involve unlawful use
  • circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable payment will be refunded.

Contract terms that give businesses excessively broad cancellation rights may be unfair, so any business cancellation right should have a genuine and reasonable basis. (GOV.UK)

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.

Any applicable taxes will be included or identified as required.

Delivery charges are displayed separately during checkout before you place your order.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we may contact you and give you the option of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling the affected item.

UK online-selling rules require the total price and delivery costs to be provided before the customer places the order. (GOV.UK)

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve stock.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you where appropriate and provide a refund for any unavailable item that has already been paid for.

6. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery periods and applicable charges are displayed during checkout.

We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the times shown on our website. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days. (GOV.UK)

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, although this does not affect any legal rights you may have if an order is significantly delayed or not delivered.

7. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Your rights to cancel an order, return products and request refunds are explained in our separate Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

For most online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to notify the retailer that they wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods, subject to applicable exceptions. (GOV.UK)

Certain sealed goods may be exempt from the change-of-mind cancellation right once opened where the goods are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons.

These restrictions do not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described. UK businesses cannot contract out of consumers’ statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. (GOV.UK)

Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.

8. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask you to provide:

  • your order number
  • details of the problem
  • photographs of the product
  • photographs of the packaging where relevant

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts your rights under applicable consumer law. UK law requires retailers to provide remedies where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet statutory requirements. (GOV.UK)

9. Responsible and Lawful Use

Products purchased from PepTools must only be purchased, possessed and used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have any knowledge, equipment, authorisation or facilities reasonably necessary for your intended use of a product.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information appearing on our website does not constitute medical, clinical or professional healthcare advice.

Nothing on the website should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare or other professional where such advice is required.

10. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on PepTools.net accurate and up to date.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or that every piece of information will always be completely free from typographical or technical errors.

We may update product information, prices, website content and these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that customers already have under an existing contract or applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of PepTools.net, including its branding, graphics, photographs, text, layout and original website materials, belongs to us or is used with permission.

You may use the website for your personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes.

You may not reproduce, commercially distribute or republish our original website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability or legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

UK consumer law does not allow businesses to use contract terms to avoid certain fundamental responsibilities, and terms that create a significant imbalance against consumers may be unenforceable. (GOV.UK)

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of a product, failure to follow supplied instructions or use of products for purposes for which they were not designed or supplied.

13. Privacy

Personal information provided through PepTools.net is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used and protected.

14. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure to fulfil an obligation where this results from circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.

Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and, where appropriate, provide available cancellation or refund options.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our website, products, business practices or applicable law.

The version applying to an order will normally be the version in force when that order was placed.

The current version will always be published on this page together with its latest revision date.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, nothing in these terms deprives you of any mandatory protections or rights available to you under the laws applicable where you live.

17. Contact Us

If you have any questions about an order or these Terms & Conditions, please contact:
