The NovoPen 4 is a robust, reusable pen-style device featuring a high-quality metal construction, clear mechanical dose display and simple adjustable dial mechanism.

For the PepTools range, the NovoPen 4 is supplied as a research hardware platform for use with compatible 3ml research cartridges. To accommodate the cartridge format used within our research range, the pen requires a dedicated 3D-printed cartridge adapter, which is available separately from PepTools.

Its durable construction and straightforward mechanical operation make the NovoPen 4 an excellent option for researchers looking for a reusable, cartridge-based dispensing platform.

Adapter/Modification Required

The NovoPen 4 is not directly compatible with cartridges without modification.

A dedicated 3D-printed cartridge adapter is required, alongside a cartridge holder modification, to correctly position and support a compatible 3ml research cartridge within the device.

The adapter will be available separately from PepTools or can be purchased alongside the pen.

Please note: Modification of the original device and use with aftermarket cartridges or adapters falls outside the manufacturer’s standard configuration. Mechanical operation, cartridge fit and output should therefore be independently checked and validated for the intended research application.
